Cycle tourism covers routes without many technical difficulties or great changes in level and therefore, the Cycle Touring Network has mainly developed these routes in flat areas. However, the route described here follows several paths that are part of the Cycle Touring Network that are on the border of Les Gavarres massif and offer a different perspective than the other routes. In this route, therefore, the countryside is notable. Cultivated areas and little mediaeval villages are combined with thick forests, made up of holm-oaks, cork oaks and pine trees, which spread over the entire surface of Les Gavarres.
