This route allows you to get to know the plain that spreads along the lower part of the River Daró. Along the route it will be quite clear that you are in marsh land, due to the large number of streams and agricultural irrigation channels you will follow, as well as the mediaeval villages that were built on the top of small elevations on the land, with the main objective of preventing them from being flooded. In the same way, if you look at maps of the area, you will also be able to see that there are plenty of names that refer to the old lakes or the different kinds of wetland plant life.
